These terms are the agreement between you and Dank's Dermal Defense ("Dank Sun," "we," "us") when you use danksun.com or buy our products. We've kept them plain. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to what's below. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or order.
01Agreeing to These Terms
By browsing danksun.com, placing an order, or otherwise using our services, you confirm you're at least 18 years old (or have a parent or guardian's permission) and that you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. These terms apply to every order, whether placed online or in person.
02Our Products
Dank's products are anhydrous, non-nano zinc oxide mineral skin products, made in small batches in Santa Cruz, California. We describe each product as accurately as we can, including its ingredients and zinc oxide concentration. Because everything is hand-made in small batches, slight natural variation in color, texture, or scent is normal and not a defect.
Please patch-test before first use, follow any directions on the label, and stop using a product if irritation occurs. If you have a known allergy to any listed ingredient, don't use that product. If you have a skin condition or concern, talk to a healthcare professional.
03Pricing & Payment
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time before you order. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout. Any applicable sales tax is calculated and added at checkout, and shipping is added based on the option you choose.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don't receive or store your full card details. By submitting an order, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your selected payment method for the total shown, including tax and shipping.
04Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline it, and we may cancel an order after it's placed — for example, if an item is out of stock, if we spot a pricing or description error, or if we suspect fraud or abuse. If we cancel an order you've already paid for, we'll refund you in full.
We may also limit quantities per customer or per order. Despite our best efforts, the site may occasionally contain errors in price or description; we reserve the right to correct them and to cancel any order placed based on an error, even after it's confirmed.
05Shipping & Delivery
We self-fulfill from Santa Cruz, typically via USPS. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and once we hand a package to the carrier, delivery timing is in their hands. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession. If something arrives damaged or doesn't arrive, see our Refund & Return Policy — we'll make it right.

07Discount & Ambassador Codes
From time to time we offer discount codes, including unique codes shared by our ambassadors. Unless we state otherwise:
- Only one code can be applied per order, and codes can't be combined or stacked;
- Codes have no cash value, can't be exchanged for cash, and apply only to eligible products;
- Codes are for personal, non-commercial use and may not be resold or posted to coupon aggregators;
- We may modify, limit, or cancel any code or promotion at any time, including if we believe it's being misused.
08Our Brand & Content
The Dank's Dermal Defense and Dank Sun names, logos, product names, label artwork, site text, and images are ours and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You're welcome to view and share links to the site, but please don't copy, reproduce, or use our brand or content for your own commercial purposes without our written permission.
09Acceptable Use
Please use the site lawfully. Don't attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site, scrape or misuse it, or use it to break the law or infringe someone's rights. We may suspend access if the site is being misused.
10Disclaimers
We put real care into our formulas, but to the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and products are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and nothing here removes rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law.
11Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dank's Dermal Defense and its owner won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Where liability can't be excluded, our total liability for any claim related to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product. Again, nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law.
12Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be handled by the state or federal courts located in Santa Cruz County, California, and you agree to that venue. We'd always rather sort things out directly first — just email us.
13Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as our business or the law changes. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Changes apply to orders placed after they're posted, so please check back from time to time.
